Count the right thing
ManyRequests documents separate limits for active tasks and requests per month. Those controls are not interchangeable. A service allowing one active request can still receive several requests over the month. A monthly allowance does not mean all included work can run simultaneously. Put both definitions beside the offer so the customer knows whether they are buying throughput, capacity, a volume allowance or some combination of these things.
Try an awkward combination
Imagine an illustrative plan with one active request and four monthly requests. A customer submits three briefs on Monday. The agency needs a clear answer about which starts, what is queued and when the monthly allowance is counted. Do not use those invented numbers as recommended pricing. Their purpose is to expose ambiguities before your real service goes live. Ask what happens to a rejected or incomplete brief as well.
Handle the month boundary deliberately
A request still in review when the month changes can raise two questions: whether it retains its place and whether it counts again. Your published rules should answer both. Keep the original work record visible while reconciling any allowance adjustment. Changing a date or recreating the request to make a counter work can erase useful history. Verify the current platform behavior using fictional data before relying on a particular reset interpretation.
Make exceptions visible
A temporary second production slot or a goodwill extra request should have an owner, a reason and an end point. Otherwise an exception quietly becomes the customer’s expected service. Keep the explanation understandable: what changed, for which request, and whether the next period returns to the usual arrangement. Limits are useful only if they match the way the agency actually sells and delivers its work; a configuration screen cannot replace that agreement.
